Straight answers, before you download.
What is UTUVO?
UTUVO makes focused audio software on one rule: one tool, one job. Player Pro handles mix review and delivery; Player Ref is for critical listening from a local library; Player Go is the App Store player for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Scan, Prep, QC, and Manager cover four different jobs around a session.
What can I download right now?
Six Mac apps: Player Pro, Player Ref, Scan, Prep, QC, and Manager. Every download is Developer ID signed, Apple notarized, and stapled; the Downloads page shows the exact version, file size, and SHA-256 for the file you receive. Player Go is also available as a free download through the App Store.
Where should I start: the product page or Learn?
Use the product page for the short version: what the app does, current product views, limits, system requirements, and the download. Use Learn when you want the complete workflow or one focused lesson without reading the whole page.
Will my sessions and files be uploaded?
No. UTUVO apps run locally on your machine; scan results and file contents are not uploaded to any server.
Which systems are supported?
The six downloadable Mac apps require Apple Silicon and macOS 13.0 or later. Player Go is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later, with an Apple Watch app. Exact requirements come from the release record and appear on each product page and the Downloads page.
Is there an iPhone or mobile version?
Yes. Player Go 1.0 is available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. It is free to download; Player Go Full is a US$3.99 one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription.
Is there a Windows build?
No. UTUVO desktop apps are macOS apps, with Player Go for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. There is no Windows build of any product and none is announced.
Does a perpetual licence include every future version?
It includes the major version you purchase and every update released within that major version. A future major version may be a separate optional one-time purchase or may be free. It is never charged automatically. If you buy within 30 calendar days before a new major becomes available, that new major is included at no charge.
Will offline use or a verification outage stop my paid app?
No. After a paid licence is successfully activated, it continues to work offline on that device. A network or verification-service failure alone cannot deactivate it. If the verification service permanently ends, we will provide a free way for lawful perpetual-licence holders to continue using, reinstalling and activating on a replacement compatible Mac within their device count.
I replaced my Mac. How do I move my licence?
Open the app on the old Mac, go to Settings and deactivate the licence there, then enter the same key on the new Mac. No email needed, and a licence covers 3 or 5 of your own Macs. Deactivate while the old Mac still has a network connection: if it is offline at that moment the app clears the licence locally but the seat can stay held on our side, and support@utuvo.app can release it for you.
My old Mac was lost, stolen or dead, so I cannot deactivate it. What now?
Email support@utuvo.app from the address you purchased with, and include the order receipt or the licence key. Once the purchase matches, we release the seat that Mac was holding, or issue a replacement key, so you can activate on your current machine. A person handles this, as quickly as we can and within one week at the latest; there is no self-service recovery page, and we never ask for anything beyond proof of your own purchase.
How do the 30-day trial and 14-day refund period differ?
The 30-day full-feature trial is for evaluation before purchase. The 14-calendar-day no-reason refund period begins separately on the purchase date, so trial days do not reduce it. After 14 days, a simple change of mind is generally not refundable, while transaction errors, activation failure, nonconformity and statutory remedies remain covered.
How do I report a problem?
Email support@utuvo.app with the product name and your macOS version. A human reads it.
